ALL THESE PEOPLE HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON: A MONTESSORI EDUCATION THAT BEGAN IN KINDERGARTEN.

ALL PARENTS WANT THEIR CHILDREN TO SUCCEED, BUT NOT EVERYONE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE THOSE CHILDHOOD DREAMS A REALITY.

In Montessori schools, entrepreneurship begins in kindergarten.

It's true that kindergarten students learn traits that help them become prepared, confident adults.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a parent who applies Montessori and remains convinced that waiting until their children are "old enough" to start realizing their dreams is a good idea.

Instead, you'll find that the road to success begins the moment your child enters the world.

HERE ARE SIX CHARACTER TRAITS THAT MONTESSORI-SCHOOLED CHILDREN HAVE IN COMMON WITH SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURS AND CELEBRITIES.

1. BOTH ARE... DETERMINED

Children love goals. From an early age, children develop work plans, alongside their Montessori parent, to define their "work" for the day. Although the work of an entrepreneur and a child differs, the model is the same. The learning period in early childhood is not just play, although it is an integral part of it!

The aim of a Montessori parent is to teach their child practical skills and allow them to explore their senses. Goal-setting is also one of the many skills they will begin to learn from the age of five.

2. BOTH ENJOY... TAKING RISKS

Try to remember the last time your child let his ball drop to the street right in front of you as you sat a little farther away and yelled "STOP" and his sneakers stopped just in time on the gravel at the end of your driveway, know that he was trying to satisfy his need to take risks.

Clearly, we don't want them to take excessive risks. However, in the Montessori environment, we take healthy risks every day. Practical life activities that involve carrying and pouring glass pitchers (yes, real glass!).

Cutting up a snack under adult supervision: risk-taking is clearly part of these children's daily routine.

3. BOTH ARE... CURIOUS

An entrepreneur discovers a new idea and works hard to put it into practice, just as a child brought up with the Montessori Pedagogy learns with the materials around him.

We encourage exploration. We want them to get dirty, to know conflict and how to resolve it, and to develop a love for their own interests. Curiosity allows children to become their authentic selves.

4. BOTH ASPIRE... TO LEARN

Entrepreneurs and young children experience the same love of learning. Learning never stops with Pédagogie Montessori. As new works and follow-ups are introduced to the children, they are seduced by their work and encouraged to excel. Children take part in activities they can't seem to get enough of!

It's certainly a trait that can sometimes go unnoticed in a traditional school setting. The love of learning begins in the early years and progresses throughout a child's life.

5. BOTH ARE... PASSIONATE ABOUT THEIR WORK

Children and entrepreneurs love what they do because they have a passion for it. The fact is, with Montessori Pedagogy, children learn to love their work and love what they do.

Starting at an early age and allowing children to make their own choices, alongside exploration, helps them appreciate their work and feel enthusiastic about it.

6. BOTH BRIMMING WITH... CREATIVITY

While entrepreneurs use their creativity to generate new ideas for their business, children work to discover what interests them. The power of Montessori Pedagogy lies in the fact that parents follow their children's interests.

If a child has a strong love of logic and mathematics, the parent can continue to work with their child to advance their knowledge and experience with materials.

Allowing children to explore their interests and be creative from an early age helps them begin to define who they are as independent individuals.

NO WONDER MONTESSORI SCHOOLS AND KINDERGARTENS ARE SO SUCCESSFUL! A PLACE WHERE CHILDREN ARE NOT ONLY PREPARED FOR THE NEXT LEVEL OF THEIR EDUCATION, BUT ALSO FOR LIFE. A LIFE IN WHICH THEY CAN FOLLOW THEIR DREAMS AND FEEL CONFIDENT ENOUGH TO DO SO!

Now, we can't commit to saying that your child could be the next pop star, business leader or president, but with Montessori, we can guarantee that your child will be ready to live an independent and successful life!
