ACTIVITY: Cinnamon play dough (smells great 🙈)!

Play dough allows children to work on their senses, experiment with materials and develop their imagination. This recipe enriches the activity by adding a special feature: working with the sense of smell. And as Maria Montessori said: children learn with their senses!

You can offer this activity from 18 months and as long as your child enjoys doing it! It's an activity that appeals to young and old alike!

✅ HOW TO DO IT?
The recipe for cinnamon modelling dough:
- 2 cups flour.
- 1 cup salt.
- 4 teaspoons cream of tartar.
- 5 teaspoons cinnamon.
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves.
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons oil.
Start by mixing the dry ingredients in a saucepan. Add the water and oil. Mix well. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it begins to thicken and form a ball. Remove from the heat and knead once the dough has cooled. Keep it in a freezer bag to prevent it from drying out.
